Felix “Pee Wee” Strickland Jr.

Felix “Pee Wee” Strickland Jr., 69, of Ashland, died March 20, 2018, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. He was a retired roofer and carpenter.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on March 23, at Shiloh MB Church in Ashland, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Michael Curry officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Doris Ann Jeffries Strickland; three daughters, Jacqulyn Jeffries of Byhalia, Felicia Washington of Ashland, Felaine Wilkins of Holly Springs; a son, Felix Strickland III of Horn Lake; three brothers, Troy Strickland of Memphis, Tenn., Herman Strickland, David Strickland, both of Ashland; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary M. Davis, May Jane Strickland and two brothers, W.B. Strickland and Lester Strickland.
