Evelyn D. Bland, 62, of Oakland, died October 29, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be held at Concord MB Church on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m.-10:55 a.m with services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband, Robert Bland; and sister, Lady Eva Marie Dixon (Pastor Ricky Dixon) of Monee, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Thomas and Parthenia Henderson Thomas; and a brother, Alex McKinney.
