Evelyn Bridgeforth Robinson

Evelyn Bridgeforth Robinson, 92, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 12, 2017, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. The widow of Samuel T. Robinson, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks where she was a missionary, on the church mother board and 4-H Club.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 18 at Pleasant Grove MB Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. S.A. Phillips officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves four children, Samuel T. Robinson Jr. of Red Banks, Kenneth D. Robinson of Waterford, Sirlena R. Young-Yancey of Red Banks, Lavoria Bodien of Squaw Lake, Minn.; five sisters, Earye Wilkins of Red Banks, Sammie Echols of Elgin, Ill., Margaret Bacum, Palestine Coleman, Mammie Seal Singleton, all of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Stewart Bridgeforth Jr., Matthew Bridgeforth of Chicago; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
