Euretha Conrad King

Euretha Conrad King, 91, of Holly Springs, died April 9, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. The widow of Leslie Lee King Sr., she was a member of Chulahoma MB Church. She served as past president of the Mother's Board and Missionary Society, director of Christian education and Bible school, adult Sunday school teacher, Pastor's Aide and Decoration committees and member of the church choir. She was a retired educator after 39 years with Marshall and Benton County schools.

Visitation will be held April 15 from 2-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on April 16 at Chulahoma MB Church Cemetery. Rev. Lonnie Whitfield will officiate. The family requests everyone to practice social distancing at the service. There will be no repast. The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.

She leaves a son, Leslie Lee King Jr. of Holly Springs; three daughters, Bonnie J. Thompson of Westchester, Ill., Gwendolyn Nichols of Wesley Chapel, Fla., Vernita Johnson of Greenville; one brother, Elder Mack Conrad of Memphis, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be made to Ida B. Wells Barnett Museum.
