Eugene Anderson

Eugene Anderson, 85, of Holly Springs, died October 8, 2025, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was a member of Anderson Chapel CME Church where he served as church trustee, usher and greeter. He was a retired funeral director at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on October 12 at Anderson Chapel CME Church. Rev. Dr. Leon C. Moore, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his children, Vivian Crosby, James Richard Anderson, both of Holly Springs, Aric Anderson, Kimberly Sprawling, Donald DeBerry, all of Memphis, Tenn.; sister, Madora Anderson of Holly Springs; and several grand and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward Anderson, Henry Anderson, George Anderson, and his twin sister, Iristine Anderson.
