Ethella Hardin Drane

Ethella Hardin Drane, 69, of Byhalia, died April 5, 2019, at her home. She was a member of Union Valley MB Church in Byhalia, a graduate of Henry High School and a retired clerical worker with the Town of Byhalia.

Visitation will be held on April 12, from 2-7 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and on April 13 from 10-10:55 a.m. at Union Valley MB Church. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Joe Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Shirley Robert Drane of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Tara Smith of Olive Branch, Tamela Jones of Holly Springs; two sons, Timothy Smith and Thomas Smith, both of Byhalia; six sisters, Vinella Harper of Byhalia, Annie Tunstall and Annie T. Dean, both of Memphis, Lillion Wheeler and Maggie Shipp, both of Byhalia, Assie Sims of Olive Branch; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Hardin, Jerry Hardin, and John Hardin Jr.
