Ethel Lee Yancy Hudson

Ethel Lee Yancy Hudson, 82, of Michigan City, died December 20, 2023, at North East Arkansas Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark. She was a member of South Ashland Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 27 from 1-5 p.m. and on Dec. 28 at South Ashland Church of Christ from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Brother William Colburn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a son, Fred Yancy of Woodstock, Ga.; grandson and caregiver, Fred Stephone Yancy of Michigan City; sisters, Jennie McGowan of Detroit, Mich., Fannie Dodson of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, William Yancey of Olive Branch; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Hudson; siblings, Christine Wright and Ollie Yancey.
