Ester Lee Martin

Ester Lee Martin, 93, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 15, 2018, She was president of the Usher Board for many years, church missionary and stewardess and a member of Eastern Star, Sunrise Chapter 166-A. She was a housekeeper and cared for children in private homes.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sept. 21 from 2-7 p.m. and with the family from 6-7 p.m., and on Sept. 22 at the church from 12 noon until 12:55 p.m.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Mt. Comfort CME Church in Waterford, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Rogers will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her caregivers, nephews Lincoln Martin (Queen) of Laws Hill, Larry Martin of Holly Springs; niece Maxine Green of Waterford; and a sister, Wilma Wilson of Waterford.
