Estell Pool

Estell Pool, 69, of Holly Springs, died Oct. 8, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Keystone Lodge #15 in Aurora, Ill., and a retired factory worker at Dial Soap Company in Aurora.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 13 at Smith Grove MB Church in Holly Springs. Burial was in Yarbrough Chapel CME Church Cemetery. Rev. Joe T. Lester officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Barbara Jean Whitfield Pool of Aurora; two children, Darryl Pool, Ryan Pool, both of Aurora; three sisters, Irma Jean Porter, Edna Brown, both of Memphis, Tenn., Shirley Gardner of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Robert Pool of Byhalia, Charles Pool, Gwendolyn Pool, both of Chicago; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death a daughter, Tonya Glover; one grandchild; and seven brothers, Wilson Pool, Willie Pool, Sam Pool, Walter Pool, Winston Pool, Ray Wilson and a twin brother, Odell Pool.
