Erma Lee Young Webber

Erma Lee Young Webber, 90, of Michigan City, formerly of Maywood, Ill., died April 8, 2021, at her home. She was a member of Sims Chapel MB Church and was an assembler at Zenith Corp. in Chicago, Ill.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 16 from 1-6 p.m.; and at Sims Chapel MB Church on April 17 from 10-10:55 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on April 17 at Sims Chapel MB Church Cemetery. Pastor Kieron Morman will officiate.

She leaves two daughters, Shirley Webber of Walnut, Kecelia Webber of Matteson, Ill.; six sons, James Webber of Bellwood, Ill., Darryl Webber of Michigan City, Jared Webber of West Chester, Ill., Gregory Webber of Canton, Gary Webber of Chicago, Derrick Webber of Hillside, Ill.; one brother, Melvin Young of Michigan City; 25 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Webber; a daughter, Sandra Evans; sisters, Earline Wells, Lucy Mae Hampton; and a brother, L.B. Young.
