Emma Jean King Stephenson

Emma Jean King Stephenson, 77, of Holly Springs, died November 24, 2025, at Methodist Olive Branch. She was a member of Smith Grove MB Church where she served as finance secretary. She was the former treasurer of the Chulahoma Fire Department and a retired supervisor from Thomas and Betts in Byhalia.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 5 from 12-5 p.m. And on Dec. 6 at Smith Grove MB Church from 9-9:55 a.m. With services at 10 a.m. Rev. Michael Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Tiffany L. McCants of Mobile, Ala.; sons, Percy Stephenson, Tony Stephenson, both of Holly Springs, Terry Stephenson, of Olive Branch, Jerry Stephenson of Horn Lake; sisters, Stacey Brimfield, Margie King, both of Holly Springs; brothers, Thessalonia King, Ivy King, Lee Mack King, Melvin King, Conerly King, all of Holly Springs; Kelsey King of Charlotte, NC; 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Harbor Stephenson; siblings, Sherry Young, Hazel King and Brenda King.
