Elvis R. Hester Sr.

Elvis R. Hester Sr., 64, of Memphis, Tenn., died April 4, 2022, at Baptist Memorial HospitalMemphis. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah CME Church.

Visitation will be held at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel on April 15 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at 12 p.m. on April 16 at Mt. Pisgah CME Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Josephine Hester; son, Elvis Hester Jr. of Memphis; three daughters, Keoshia Palmer Lalaih Hester, Zalaih Mcauley, all of Memphis; four brothers, Roy Hester, James Elton Hester (Mae), both of Somerville, Tenn., Timmy Hester of Kansas, Marlon Hester (Cynthia) of Somerville; three sisters, Lora Ward of Chicago, Ill., Mary Williamson, Lorie Hester, both of Somerville; and six grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Hester and Fannie Tatum.
