Ellie B. Walls Williams

Ellie B. Walls Williams, 85, of Amory, formerly of Ashland, died May 5, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of St. James COGIC in Ripley and was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 13 from 4-6 p.m. And at St. James Church of God in Christ on May 14 from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Glenn Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Macedonia CME Church Cemetery in Ashland.

She leaves her daughters, Jamie Williams of Amory, Marilyn Hunt of Cordova, Tenn., Mary J. Hoyle of Tupelo, Brenda Armour of Memphis, Tenn., Demetria Terry of Lamar; sons, Melvin Williams of Memphis, Rev. Glen D. Williams of Rochester, NY, Raymond Williams of Ashland; sisters, Mae Willie Johnson, Gladys Walls, Janie Walls, all of Memphis; brother, Anthony Walls of Memphis; 26 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Williams; and daughter Adella Cohran.
