Ellen Bogan Bell

Ellen Bogan Bell, 104, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 11, 2020, at Alliance HealthCare System. The widow of Parker Bell, she was a member of Liberty Hill MB Church in Byhalia, a 4-H Club member for over 50 years, member of Hebron Homemaker's Club, a church missionary, church secretary, church trustee and served on the mother's board. She was a housewife and homemaker.

Services were held at 12 noon on Feb. 15 at Rust College Doxey Auditorium in Holly Springs. Rev. Charles Rayburn officiated. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves one son, Maurice Bell of Holly Springs; three daughters, Velivian Bullard and Doris Wright Parham, both of Memphis, Tenn., Monet Bell Autry of Holly Springs; 28 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Parker Bell Jr. and Sheriff Osborne Bell; three daughters, Imodene Bell Goodman, Shirley Withers, and Zella Mae Jenkins.
