Ella Mae Washington White

Ella Mae Washington White, 89, died August 25, 2021 at her home in Benton County. She was a member of Greenwood MB Church in Lamar where she served on the mother board. She was retired from Memphis Furniture Factory.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 31 at Greenwood MB Church. Rev. Dr. Patrick Washington officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves four daughters, Margaree White, Jacqueline Shine, both of Holly Springs, LeJoyi White-Pollard of Memphis, Tenn., Collin B. Wesson of Jonesboro, Ga.; one son, Otis L. White of Cordova, Tenn.; two brothers, James L. Washington Jr., John A. Washington, both of Holly Springs; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Lena Mae Trice, Brenda Anderson, Sandra D. White; brothers, Joe Washington and Rev. Walter Washington.
