Ella Elizabeth Jones, 87, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 5, 2018, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. She was the widow of Robert Jones.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Sims Chapel MB Church, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pastor Actavatis Allen officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves two daughters, Mae Ella Jones-Tate of Horn Lake, Alma Marie Hudson (Earnest Lee Sr.) of Holly Springs; two sons, Albert Jones (Shirley), A.J. Jones, both of Memphis, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Lucy Lewis, Bernice Tucker, Mary Craig, Lee Anne Key, Gracie Hussey, Sarah Jones and Millie Franklin; and two grandchildren.
