Elizabeth Nunnally Graves

Elizabeth Nunnally Graves, 83, of Holly Springs MS, recently residing in San Jose Calif., died in the early morning hours of June 6, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was baptized into Christ at the Hernando Road Church of Christ. She was an educator for most of her life, retiring from Saint Peter’s Group Home for young girls in Memphis, Tenn.

Elizabeth enjoyed being surrounded by the mountains and the ocean and it was her wish to begin the next phase of her journey amongst these beautiful locations, so an intimate scattering of her ashes will be released on a tranquil beach along the 17-mile drive in Monterey, Calif., at a later date.

She leaves a daughter, Sharon (John) Jones and son, Cedric (Hayley) Graves, both of San Jose, Calif.; son, Sandy (Dietrich) Graves of Douglasville, Ga.; sister, Arietta Williams of Chicago, Ill; brothers, Eddie (Stella) Nunnally of St Louis, Mo., L.V. (Birdie) Nunnally of Memphis, Tenn., and Ulysses UZ (Jenette) Nunnally of Holly Springs, MS; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lillian and Virgil Nunnally; her sister, Lula Nunnally; and brother, Willie Nunnally. paid obituary
