Elizabeth Lawrence McKinney

Elizabeth Lawrence McKinney, 97, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 18, 2021, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was a member of Strawberry MB Church in Holly Springs and a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 26 from 3-5 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 27 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Rev. Keith Mason will officiate. Immediately following a memorial service will be held at The Chandelier ballroom in Holly Springs.

She leaves a daughter, Carolyn McKinney Harp of Houston, Texas; two sons, Walter H. McKinney Jr. of Dallas, Texas, John M. McKinney of Holly Springs; one sister, Sadie Smith of Chicago, Ill.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Walter H. McKinney Sr.; a son, Glen M. McKinney; siblings, Beatrice Hymon, Magnolia Payne, Lorine Crane, Roberta Rankin, John Henry Lawrence and William Howard Lawrence.
