Elizabeth (Betty) Pearl Moore

Elizabeth (Betty) Pearl Moore, of Holly Springs, entered into glory on September 9, 2022, at the age of 90, surrounded by family.

She was born September 12, 1931 in Holly Springs to Bernard Summerfield Holbrook and Attie Lena Reid Holbrook.

She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Holly Springs where is was a Sunday school teacher and member of the church choir.

Betty is survived by her children, Karen D. Holley (Mike), of Hernando, Merri Grace Woods (Pat), of Byhalia, Teresa D. Campbell (the late Tim Campbell), of Olive Branch; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Holdbrook.

She leaves six grandchildren, Patrick Woods, Philip Woods, Jessica Hughes, Matt Holley, Dustin Clarkson and Rachel Coop; 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Ferrell Lee Moore; a daughter, Sandra Leigh Clark; parents, B.S. and Lena Holbrook; two brothers, Henry G. Holbrook and William Earl Holbrook; two sisters, Katherine Duke and Audrey Merritt.

Funeral services were held on September 12 at Holly Springs Funeral Home.
