Elizabeth “Beth” Diane Harris

Elizabeth “Beth” Diane Harris, 38, of Byhalia, MS, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto.

She is survived by her aunt and uncle, Rhonda “Tina” and Stanley Mills of Byhalia; her stepfather, Joe Lee Bassett of Byhalia; and her father, Larry Harris. She also leaves behind her cousins, Jessie (Kristin) Mills, and Marcella “Kitty” Mills, both of Byhalia; and Carmen Mills (Tosha Larson) of Overland Park, Kansas. She leaves a host of other friends and relatives, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her twins, Jeremiah Dewayne and Victoria Mae Wright.

She was daughter of the late Vicki Harris Bassett, of Memphis, Tenn.

Elizabeth was employed by Tops Barbecue in Olive Branch, MS, for 7 years. She was also a graduate of Concorde Career College, and worked for several years as a Certified Medical Assistant. She was a member of Brookside Baptist Church in Barton, MS.

Services were held on Friday, March 31, 2017, at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park South, with her burial preceding the services. Pallbearers were Ralph Harmon,  Joseph “Parris” Hicks, Jessie Mills, Chris Sisk, William Wilson Jr., and Danny Johnson.
