Eleanor Ann Dunn Carter

Eleanor Ann Dunn Carter, 76, of Holly Springs, died January 15, 2025, at her home. She was a preschool teacher for over 36 years having been employed at Totally Kids Learning Center in Collierville, Tenn., ICS HeadStart in Mt. Pleasant, and director at Slayden Baptist Church.

A visitation was held at Serenity Funeral Home on Jan. 20 from 5-7 p.m.

She leaves her sons, Jack Carter (Teresa), Thomas Carter, both of Holly Springs, Jerome Carter of Valdosta, Ga.; brother, Raymond Dunn (Diane) of Ga.; sister, Theresa Southwick (Steve) of Texas; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Skip Carter; brothers, Charles Dunn, James Dunn, William Dunn, Edward Dunn, Robert Dunn, Joseph Dunn; sisters, Mary Dunn and Patricia Montez.
