Effie Mae Kimbrough Gray

Effie Mae Kimbrough Gray, 48, formerly of Holly Springs, died May 3, 2019, in Aurora, Ill. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on May 12 at Serenity Autry Funeral Home Chapel.

She leaves her husband, David Gray; one son, David M. Gray and one daughter, Samaria S. Gray, both of Aurora; five sisters, Earlean Martin, Stephanie Taylor, both of Holly Springs, Patricia Kimbrough of Memphis, Tenn., Shirley Richmond and Andrina Stinson; nine brothers, James E. Malone (Tomeka) of Hickory Flat, Rev. Larry Kimbrough (Sellestine) of Mineral Wells, Texas, David Malone Kimbrough, Kenneth Lee Kimbrough, Robert E. Kimbrough Sr., Anthony Malone and Larry Washington, all of Holly Springs, Conniel Malone of Houston, Texas, and Gary D. Campbell of Santa Monica, Calif.; two goddaughters, Paulette Jordan (Greg) and Jaquita Myles, both of Aurora; and 13 grandchildren.
