Edwin W. Callicutt Jr.

Edwin Warwick Callicutt, Jr., passed away in his home on Thursday April 25, 2024. Mr. Callicutt was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Arlyss Ann Henderson Callicutt, and one brother, Wayburn Gardner Callicutt (Jane).

Mr. Callicutt spent the majority of his life in Holly Springs, Miss. He was a graduate from Holly Springs High School and Mississippi State University. Mr. Callicutt's career was as a corporate purchasing manager. He was the owner of CMC Transportation. Throughout his life, Mr. Callicutt enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with his sons. Later in life, he enjoyed traveling with his wife throughout the US.

Mr. Callicutt leaves three children, Edwin W. Callicutt, III (Brenda), Westley Hayward Callicutt (Kathy), and Alice Callicutt Ray (Tommy). He has six grandchildren who lovingly call him Ebbie: Darby Jane Callicutt, Bennett William Crowley (Tonya), Caitlin Callicutt Koester (Colin), William Thomas Patton, Wesleyann Ray Carpenter (Chris), and Heather Ray Hodges (Mike). Ebbie also has eight great-grandchildren: Weston, Jaxon, Noah Cal, Brooks H., Madelyn, Jaiden, Jake, and Brooks C.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church or Marshall Academy.
