Edward Marion

Edward Marion, 68, of Aurora, Ill., formerly of Potts Camp, died April 27, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Ill. He was a graduate of Potts Camp High School and attended Rust College. He retired from Caterpillar after 40 years and then worked for Durham School Services.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on May 4 at Greenfield Presbyterian Church in Waterford. Minister Anthony Marion officiated. Burial was in Spring Hill MB Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his children, Marcus Marion (Jennette), Edwin Jamaal Thompson (Tierra), Osmond Harris and Melanie Marion; his siblings, Renee Davis (Antonio), Elvis Pitts, Greg Pitts, James H. Marion, Josephine Bogard, Janet Crockette, Beverly Bogard, Sid Bogard, Willie E. Bogard, Charles L. Bogard, and Tracy Bogard; six grandchildren; a lifelong friend, Bessie Marion of Aurora, Ill.; and a godson, Josh Edwards.

He was preceded in death by one son, Rawlin E. Marion.
