Edward “Fly” Williams

Edward “Fly” Williams, 66, of Michigan City, died Feb. 25, 2017, at his home. He was a former factory worker for Carrier Inc. in Collierville, Tenn.

Visitation will be March 3 from 2-7 p.m. and with the family from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home and on March 4 from 10-10:55 a.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on March 4 at Sims Chapel MB Church in Michigan City with burial in Williams Family Cemetery in Michigan City. Rev. Harvey L. Garrison will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves three children, Leiser Webb of Memphis, Tenn., Teresa Hunt of Collierville, Tenn., and Louis Hunt of Moscow, Tenn.; two sisters, Vonsha Williams of Michigan City, Helen Williams of Asburn, Va.; seven grandchildren and a dear friend, Doris Hunt of Moscow.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Wallace Williams, Freddie Williams and Brenda Burnett.
