Edna Louise Boyd

Edna Louise Boyd, 67, of Holly Springs, died August 22, 2024, at Baptist Memorial North Mississippi - Oxford. She was a member of Adolphus Chapel CME Church where she served on the board of Christian Education, as a missionary and church trustee. She worked in the food service industry.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on August 30 from 3:30-6 p.m. and on August 31 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Willie Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Adolphus Chapel CME Church Cemetery.

She leaves her daughters, Brandi Boyd of Holly Springs, Nakeshia Shaw of Oxford, Keianna Jeffries from Vicksburg; son, Wilfred Mitchell of Holly Springs; sisters, Parthenia Walker, Lane Jones, Cheryl Jones, Valena Howell, all of Holly Springs, Mamie Pritchard of Victoria, Nicole Stewart of Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Johnthan Stewart of Detroit, Wayne Loveberry of Tate County, Tracy Isom of Holly Springs, Michael Phillips of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Boyd, James Earl Jones, Henry Boyd Jr., Edward Jones and Johnny Smith.
