Eddie Wayne Hampton

Eddie Wayne Hampton, 57, of Michigan City, died May 31, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tenn. He was a member of Palestine MB Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on June 6 at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Hugh Davis officiated. Burial was in Palestine MB Church Cemetery.

He leaves Tracey Hampton; two children, Demonte Hampton of Myrtle, Abyon Hampton of Ripley; seven brothers, Charles Cole (Lovie), James Cole (Georgia), David Hampton, Jerry Lewis Hampton (Margaret); Sylvester Hampton (Angela), Darryl Hampton, Michael Hampton (Minisha), all of Ashland; four sisters, Teresa McKay, Sarah Hudson (Mark), both of Ashland, Brenda Hoyle of Ripley, and Michelle Roberts (Leonard) of Holly Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lucille Bogard and Johnnie Lee Hampton Sr.; brothers, Chester Cole, Johnnie Lee Hampton Jr. and Fannie Elaine Hampton, all of Ashland.
