Eddie Perry

Eddie Perry, 85, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Ashland, died Aug. 15, 2017, in his home. The widower of Annie Elizabeth Perry, he was a member and deacon at Moore Temple and Tabernacle Praise COGIC and retired from Ingersoll Products. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 21 at Samuel Chapel MB Church in Ashland with burial in the church cemetery. Elder Julius Burroughs Jr. officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves three daughters, Brenda Jones of Gilbert, Ariz., Phyllis Yancy of Tempe, Ariz., Dr. Vicki Perry-Innman of Dallas, Texas; five sisters, Calverta Marshall, Leada Ann Jones, Corine Little, Leatha Powell, Rosie Walls; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Jannie and Audrey, Mary Lillar, Mary Frances and Annie Mae, and brothers, Jim R. Autry and Bobby.
