Eddie Daniel Dixon

Eddie Daniel Dixon, 77, of Holly Springs, died October 4, 2022, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. He was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church, member of Knights of Columbus, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, served 4-1/2 terms as supervisor of District 2 in Marshall County and a school bus driver. He was a retired educator for the Marshall County School District.

Services were held at 12 noon on Oct. 10 at Eddie D. Dixon Sports Complex at H.W. Byers High School. Father Tim Gray, SCJ officiated. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Maxine Howard Dixon; daughters, Brignetta Dickerson of Holly Springs, Wanda Dixon Beasley of Cordova, Tenn.,; sons, Eddie D. Dixon Jr. of Cordova, Trevan Dixon of Olive Branch; brothers, Floyd Dixon of Holly Springs, James Dixon of Raliegh; and four grandchildren.
