Eddie B. Ambrose

Eddie B. Ambrose, 89, of Lamar, died September 7, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Isom Chapel CME Church. He was employed with Troxel in Rossville and Holly Springs Lumber Co.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 11 at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.

He leaves his wife of 66 years, Evor Lee; seven children, Eva Jean Corbett (Miller) of San Antonio, Texas, Lorenzo Ambrose (Diane) of Memphis, Tenn., Eddie Ambrose Jr. (LaToya) of Venus, Texas, Stanley Ambrose (Elizabeth) of Byhalia, Michael Ambrose (Kimberly) of Memphis, Bonnie Malone of Lamar, Bruce Ambrose (Novella) of Bolivar, Tenn.; two brothers, Fred Ambrose (Patricia) of Lamar, James Henry Ambrose of Millington, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Ambrose; his parents and three siblings.
