Easter Marion

Easter Marion, 85, of Holly Springs, died August 20, 2024, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was a member of Hopewell No. 1 MB Church where she served as choir director, on the missionary society and mother board. She was a retired housekeeper.

Graveside services were held at 12 noon on August 25 at Hill Crest Cemetery. Rev. Dr. John Crittle officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a brother, James Wesley Marion Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.; her caregivers, niece, Vivian Crosby and nephew, James Richard Anderson, both of Holly Springs.

She was preceded in death by a son, Morris V. Marion; sisters, Eva Gipson, Ivion Crittle, Bessie Anderson, Beatrice Marion; and brother, Manuel Poe.
