Earye Bridgeforth Wilkins

Earye Bridgeforth Wilkins, 96, Holly Springs, died June 3, 2022, at her home. She was a former member of Anderson Chapel CME Church, member of Beverly Chapel CME Church, Order of Eastern Star, and CME Ministers’ Wives Association. She was a retired ICS Headstart teacher.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on June 9 from 3-6 p.m. And June 10 from 12-12:55 p.m. At Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks with services at 1 p.m. Antonio Barrino will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves daughters Catherine Wilson (Lynn) of Peoria, Ariz., Charlene Bunch (Robert) of Olive Branch, Velvet Chambers (Bruce) of Holly Springs, Shirley Mosley (Michael) of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Milton Wilkins of St. Louis, Mo.; sisters, Sammie Echols of Elgin, Ill., Palestine Coleman, Margaret Bacum, Mamie Singleton, all of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Matthew Bridgeforth of Chicago; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Aaron Wilkins Jr.; children, Patty Wilkins, Aaron Wilkins III, C.L. Wilkins, Charles Anthony Wilkins and Charles Edward Wilkins.
