Earlene Gilliland Yancey

Earlene Gilliland Yancey, 82, of Byhalia, died March 20, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. The widow of Jep Dudley Yancey, she was a Baptist and employed as a nursing assistant for St. Francis Hospital before her retirement.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on March 23, at the Hood Cemetery near Somerville, Tenn. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home and Cremation Center was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her son, William Yancey of Byhalia; and a sister, Myrtie Mae Williams of Hackleburg, Ala.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Kay Yancey; and a brother, William Gail Gilliland.
