Earlean Hampton

Earlean Hampton, 76, of Lamar, died April 10, 2026, at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Sand Hill MB Church .

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on April 17 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at Sand Hill MB Church on April 18 at 1 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery.

She leaves her sons, Tyrone Hampton (Anna) of Slayden, Barry Derell Hampton (Cathie) of Holly Springs, Randy Eric Hampton of Michigan City; daughter, Lavon Hampton of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Tilmon Hampton (Phylisia) of Olive Branch, John Alvin Hampton (Betty) of Crete, Ill.; sisters, Learlean Hampton Pointer of Lamar, Alice Shed (David) of Colombus, Ga., Earnestine Hampton of Memphis; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Tony Lewis Hampton, Cameron Hampton; brothers, Willie Hampton, Sylvester Hampton Jr. and Thomas Hampton.
