Dr. Wanda Louise Dawkins Richmond

Dr. Wanda Louise Dawkins Richmond, 65, of Holly Springs, died August 13, 2025, at her home. She was a minister/evagelist at Jehova Jireh Ministries and a teacher with the Memphis Shelby County School System.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Aug. 22 from 3-6 p.m. and on Aug. 23 from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Michael Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves a daughter, Tomea Robinson of Holly Springs; sons, Keith Dawkins of Memphis, Tenn., Kenny Dawkins of Holly Springs; sisters, Jeanie Brown of Memphis, Leora Washington of Holly Springs, Carliss Curry of Lawrenceville, Ga., Verneda Dawkins, Diana Green, both of Aurora, Ill., Stella Govan of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Thurman Dawkins of Aurora, Celester Dawkins Jr. of Holly Springs, John Dawkins of Waterford, Ellis Dawkins of Holly Springs; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Richmond; siblings, Richard Jeffries Sr., Lenwood Dawkins, James Dawkins, Shirley Haile, and Lillian Lesure.
