Dorothy Marie DeBerry

Dorothy Marie DeBerry, 78, of Byhalia, died Nov. 11, 2020, at Alliance HealthCare System in Holly Springs. She was a Jehovah's Witness and a former nurse assistant for a nursing home.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 18 from 4-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 19 at Mt. Sinai MB Church Cemetery in Byhalia.

She leaves a son, Jamie Jefferson DeBerry of Byhalia; five sisters, Linda Washington of Olive Branch, Nonnie Shipp, Jeanette Ingram, Pauline Holloway, all of Byhalia, Bessie Bowen of Southaven; 11 brothers, Rickey Washington of Olive Branch, Lester Lee Washington, Roosevelt Washington, Leroy Washington, all of Memphis, Tenn., Jessie James Ingram, Fred Ingram, Steven Ingram, Toby Ingram, all of Byhalia, John Ingram of Holly Springs, Clay Ingram of Greenwood, Irving "Duck" Robinson of Chicago, Ill.; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Maggie Ann McKinney, Ethel Mae Barksdale; four brothers, Robert Washington, Willie Washington, Larry Washington, and Tolbert Washington.
