Dorothy Mae Bell

Dorothy Mae Bell, 72, of Michigan City, died February 12, 2023. She was a member of a member of Hardaway MB Church.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Hardaway MB Church with burial in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves three daughters, Gloria Williams (Billy) of Michigan City, Gloria Murdock (Willie) of Corinth, Dorothy Jean Falls of Michigan City; three sons, Ricky Traylor (Michelle) of Grand Junction, Tenn., Joe Falls Sr. (Classie) of Collierville, Tenn., Dennie Falls of Corinth; two sisters, Dorothy Brooks (Robert) of Michigan City, Fannie Gibson (Billy Ray) of Bolivar, Tenn.; seven brothers, James Traylor Jr. (Cynthia), Willie Traylor (Betty), both of Michigan City, Odell Traylor (Mary) of Chicago, Ill., Roosevelt Traylor (Hazel), Robert Traylor (Elizabeth), James Traylor (Ramona), Johnny Traylor (Yolanda), all of Michigan City; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Falls and Leroy Bell; two brothers, Willie Traylor, Mack Arthur Traylor; a sister, Rosie Hamer; and a son, Willie T. Traylor.
