Dorothy Jean Johnson Foster

Dorothy Jean Johnson Foster, 73, of Holly Springs, died March 26, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. She was a member of Providence MB Church where she was a former usher and choir member. She was a member of the Heroines of Jericho and retired from Wurlitzer.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 30 from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and on March 31 at Providence MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Evangelist Linda Terry will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves her husband, Eddie Frank Foster; son, Robert L. Jefferson of Memphis, Tenn.; sister, Opherine Wilson Howell of Pontotoc; brothers, Mulester Johnson, Marion Johnson, both of Holly Springs, Curtis Lee Johnson of Chicago, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Charles E. Johnson, Johnny Dexter Johnson Jr., Alonzo Johnson and Odell "Sonny" Johnson.
