Dorothy Jean Bryson Allen

Dorothy Jean Bryson Allen, 72, of Michigan City, died December 2, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. She was a member of South Ashland Church of Christ and a nurse's aide with Home Health Care.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 11 from 12-4 p.m. and on Dec. 12 at Samuel Chapel MB Church in Ashland from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Brother William Colburn will officiate. Burial will be in South Ashland Church of Christ Cemetery.

She leaves her daughter, Ronetta Mason of Michigan City; sisters, Annie Spight of Holly Springs, Lue Ethel Garmon, Martha A. Isom, Iester Bryson, all of Michigan City, Vera L. Jones of Country Club Hills, Ill., Francine L. Townsell, Tinny A. Bryson both of Ashland, Mary N. Bryson of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Jessie J. Bryson, Jerry L. Bryson both of Michigan City, Jimmy D. Bryson of Memphis, Tenn.; two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Monroe Allen; and a daughter, Katina Allen.
