Dorothy B. Moore Jones

Dorothy B. Moore Jones, 88, of Collierville, Tenn., formerly of Victoria, died October 19, 2022, at Baptist-Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, She was a member of Pleasant Grove MB Church where she served on the mother's board, missionary society and was in the church choir. She was a CNA at Samaritan Home Health Care.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 26 at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks. Pastor Alberoderick Neely officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her daughters, Elmer Dean Thompson of Collierville, Linda Pegues of Memphis, Tenn.; sons, Clarence Pegues, Michael Pegues, both of Memphis, Harvey Pegues of Compton, Calif.; sisters, Shirley Ann Totten of Olive Branch, Linnie Blair of Byhalia, Ozell White, Helen Hardaway, both of Memphis; brothers, Frank Blair, Curtis Blair, both of Byhalia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Claudia Mae Pegues, David Pegues; siblings, Lula Mae Hardaway, Lucious Blair, Arvern Moore, Eldridge Moore, Broadie Moore and Felix Moore Jr.
