Doris Evelyn Byers, 69, of Waterford, died September 19, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a member of Hamilton Chapel CME Church and a dietitation at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab.
Visitation will be held at Hamilton Chapel CME Church on Sept. 27 from 11 a.m.-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Frank Taylor will officiate. J.F. Brittenman and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She leaves a son, Adrian Mancini Byers of Waterford; sister, Anita B. Kirkwood of Holly Springs; brothers, Lonnie Wooten, Lawrence Wooten Jr., both of Waterford.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Byers Wooten and brother, Johnny Wooten.
