Doris Ann Stinson Brown-Beard

Doris Ann Stinson Brown-Beard, 81, of Fayetteville, NC, formerly of Holly Springs, died January 20, 2024, at Cape Fear Rehabilitation and Hospice. She was a member of Hernando Road Church of Christ and a former dietician at Mississippi Industrial College and CADET Jr. High School.

Services will be held at 12 noon on January 28 at Jesus Peace Ministries Church in Fayetteville. Apostle James W. McGrady Jr. will officiate. Herring Funeral Care and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her children, Travis of Holly Springs, Sylvia of Kileen, Texas, Robert of Fayetteville, Montrell of Hoskinville, Ky.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Beard; children, Jerolyn Northcutt, Justin Brown; siblings, Lawrence (PeeWee) Stinson and Madora (Rosie) Payton.
