Donald R. Smith, 70, of Hickory Flat, died Aug. 23, 2018. He was a Marine veteran of Vietnam and a long haul driver.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 25 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hill Crest Cemetery. Bro. Ben L. McCraw officiated.
He leaves his wife, Dian Smith; a son, Kevin Smith of Hickory Flat; a daughter, Kimberly Oglesby of Hickory Flat; his father, Drew Smith of Mt. Pleasant; three brothers, Andy Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Roy Smith of Horn Lake, Billy Smith of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Jo Ann Bullard of Southaven, Jan Taubken of Missouri, Pat Maroney of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Shelton.
