Diane Rutherford

Diane Rutherford, 61, of Southaven, formerly of Ashland, died July 18, 2023, at Baptist Memorial HospitalDeSoto in Southaven. She was a member of Mt. Zion CME Church where she was a church stewardess. She was a nurse assistant.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 28 from 3-6 p.m. And on July 29 at Mt. Zion CME Church in Ashland from 10-10:55 a.m. With services at 11 a.m. Minister Johntavien Matthews will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a son, Willie Shuntel Rutherford (Dequebeneise); sisters, Winfred Reaves of Calif., Carolyn Cochran of Ashland, Demetria Rutherford of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Jason Rutherford of Texarkana, Stacy Alexander of Grand Junction, Tenn., Tracy Alexander of Holly Springs, and Brent Rutherford of Texarkana.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Donyelle Rutherford, Patricia Spencer, Linda Humphrey and Hazel Rutherford.
