Derrick Lewis Miller

Derrick Lewis Miller, 56, of Olive Branch, died September 1, 2021, at his home. He was a member of 2nd Baptist Church of Hernando where he was a member of the usher board. He was a truck driver for N P L Trucking.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 12 from 12-3 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 13 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Rev. Quinton Taylor and Rev. Andrew Miller will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Dianne Mayfield Miller; two daughters, DeErica Burkley, Dreica Burkley, both of Memphis, Tenn.; four sons, LaDarius Burkley of Memphis, Justin Miller of Hernando, Mark Merritt of Southaven, Kagey Pearson of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; stepmother, Pauline Vaughn of Flint, Mich.; one brother, Joseph Miller of Lansing, Mich.; six sisters, Loleatha Miller, Joyce Buford, both of Hattiesburg, Cynthia Miller of Va., Tamara Scott of Grand Prairie, Texas, Helen Brooks and Miosha Robinson, both of Flint.
