Derrick Donyae' Thompson

Derrick Donyae' Thompson, 44, of Holly Springs, died February 11, 2026, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Bell Grove MB Church and an order clerk at Milwaukee Tools.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 20 from 1-5 p.m. and on Feb. 21 at Mt. Peel MB Church in Laws Hill from 1:30-2:25 p.m. with services at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Gregory Paige will officiate. Burial will be in Bell Grove MB Church Cemetery in Chulahoma.

He leaves his children, Derrius Donyae' Thompson of Memphis, Tenn., Kylan Thompson of Horn Lake; sister, Tomiko Thompson of Washington, DC; mother, Madora M. Scruggs of Holly Springs; and father, Lawrence E. Thompson of Lexington, Ky.
