Dereal McClaskey Gipson, 58, of Water Valley, died February 24, 2026. He was a member of Flint Hill MB Church in Etta and a welder.
A visitation was held at Serenity Funeral Home in New Albany on Feb. 28 from 3-6 p.m.
He leaves his children, Amereya Gipson of Louisville, Ky.; Dereal Gipson Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisc., DaVon Gipson of Water Valley, Issiah Gipson of Louisville; father, Henry Gipson of Abbeville, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearlie Smith Gipson.
