Denorris Derrell "Nod" Howell

Denorris Derrell "Nod" Howell, 36, of Waterford, died Jan. 3, 2020, at Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman. He was a member of Mt. Peel MB Church in Holly Springs. He was a former maintenance worker at Annie's Restaurant.

Visitation will be held on Jan. 10 at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home from 2:305 p.m.; visit with family at New Community Church from 6-8 p.m.; and January 11 from 1:30-2:25 p.m. at Chulahoma MB Church in Holly Springs. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Rondias Cox will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Angela Marion Howell; two daughters, LaKyrah Howell, LaKayla Howell, both of Waterford; two sons, Lamarcus Falkner, LaNorris Howell, both of Waterford; his mother, Janice Howell Wilkins of Waterford; his father, Casey Beard of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Marnika Howell of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Preston Wilkins of Southaven, Jamal DeShields-Beard of Winston Salem, N.C.
