Delcenia Jones Daniels
Delcenia Jones Daniels, 81, of Holly Springs, died June 29, 2025, at her sister's home in Red Banks. She was a member of Mt. Zion Taska MB Church where she served as a church secretary, and on the mother board. She was a member of the Ida B. Wells Barnett Museum, member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and the Retired Teacher's Association. She was a retired educator in the Marshall County School System.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 6 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and on July 7 at Mt. Zion Taska MB Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Adrian Daniels will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She leaves her husband, Johnny Daniels; daughters, LaChandra Carnes of Olive Branch, LaMetrius Daniels of Nashville, Tenn., Rosalyn Daniels of Holly Springs; sons, Marcus Daniels of Holly Springs, Rev. Adrain Daniels of St. Louis, Mo.; sisters, Annie Richmond of Red Banks, Earnestine Taylor of Holly Springs, Lurline Walls, Rebecca Brown, both of Red Banks; brothers, LeRoy Jones of Holly Springs, Ernest B. Jones Jr., Clarence Jones, both of Red Banks; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Averne Jones.
