Dederial Bernett Seay

Dederial Bernett Seay, 55, of Holly Springs, died June 7, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of St. Paul CME Church, in the US Army Reserve, served in Desert Storm/Shield, a member of the U.S. Army National Guard, member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and was a mortgage broker.

Services were held at Anderson Chapel CME Church on June 15 at 10 a.m. Rev. Michael Johnson officiated. Burial will be held in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on June 21 at 9 a.m. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a son, Dederial B. Seay II of Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughters, Jordyn Seay, Kyra Alexander, both Lawrenceville; mother, Florean Seay White of Holly Springs; sisters, Honorable Judge Carol White-Richard (Bennie) of Greenville, Charita Fason of Memphis; brothers, Norris Seay of Memphis, Patrick Seay of Holly Springs; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Seay and stepfather, Daniel H. White.
